A new research report from the Scottish Parliament suggests that the number of cycle journeys is best increased through the implementation of several new strategies, including new
cycle networks based on a clear standardised design, space reallocation and the discouragement of driving, especially in towns and cities. Teamed with a cleverly executed marketing
campaign it is thought that the introduction of this new cycle network will improve the health and well being of its citizens, as well as reducing congestion and pollution.
